QuickBooks Online

Your QuickBooks Online connection to Forecastle is disconnected.

The OAuth tokens between Forecastle and your QuickBooks Online company have been revoked. Forecastle can no longer read data from QuickBooks Online on your behalf, and your QuickBooks Online company has been removed from Forecastle’s connected applications.

What happened

One of the following triggered the disconnection:

You clicked Disconnect inside Forecastle

From Settings → Integrations → QuickBooks Online, the Disconnect button revokes the OAuth grant with Intuit and removes the connection from Forecastle.

You disconnected from inside QuickBooks Online

From Settings → Manage app connections in QuickBooks Online, removing Forecastle from your connected apps revokes the same tokens.

Intuit revoked the tokens

A password change, account closure, or Intuit-side security action can invalidate the grant. Reconnecting from Forecastle restores access.

How to reconnect

Reconnecting takes about a minute and re-establishes the same chart-of-accounts and tracking-category mappings you had before.

  1. Sign in to Forecastle on the workspace you previously connected QuickBooks Online to.
  2. Open Settings → Integrations.
  3. Find the QuickBooks Online tile and click Connect QuickBooks.
  4. Intuit will prompt you to sign in and authorise Forecastle to read your company’s data.
  5. Once authorised, Forecastle resumes the monthly sync automatically.
